“After qualifying in Biomedical Microbiology at University, I entered the world of infection control for dentistry in 2006. I regularly train practices and speak at dental conferences and more. I joined Dentisan as Business Development Director in 2018, now the UK’s no. 1 infection control brand. I’m proud to lead a team of experts, providing products and services including education to the dental industry across the UK, Ireland and beyond. A highlight has been leading the team developing Dentisan’s Clean Water Club from concept to finished product and bringing it to the industry in 2022.

Outside of work, I spend my time reading and travelling, with an interest in history and musical theatre, and being a dog-mum to my golden retriever Poppy!”

“I am often on the road, conducting in-practice infection control training for dental practices and I also work with/support my Henry Schein FSC’s on the go. I promote our infection control products and discuss our Clean Water Club – a fabulous role and very rewarding getting to know practices.

What makes Dentisan different is the people, including those who support us at our office in Derby. They’re genuinely invested in helping us on the road and our customers.

Outside of work, I enjoy walking my little dog. I live close to the sea and those coastal walks help clear my head! I am often found at breakfast or lunch with good friends catching up and love gardening.”

“As a former dental nurse, I thought I fully understood infection control, but working with Dentisan and having learned so much from the team showed me how much science sits behind the products we use every day in surgery. I love that I get to share this information with other dental teams.

Outside of work, I can be found training for a half marathon – I have been running a few family 5k and 10k races and am building up to the next challenge.”

“I am in charge of the R&D team who create and support product formulations with medical device technical documentation and test water samples. There are many details that can be easily overlooked, and the support that we have to give to medical device products to be able to apply CE marks and place them on the market is a vital process. Our current R&D team of 7 has racked up over 75 years of combined experience with the company, reflected in our commitment we give to customer education and support.

Outside of work, I can be found in the gym or in my home workshop, where I am trying my hand at silversmithing.”

“I oversee the R&D team responsible for developing and improving Dentisan’s infection control solutions. My role combines scientific innovation with practical customer support, ensuring our products meet the needs of modern dental practices while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and performance in line with HTM 01-05.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me at the gym or in the swimming pool. If I’m not there, I’m probably undoing all that hard work by baking and enjoying homemade chocolate treats!”

“As an R&D Chemist, I develop new products and offer technical support to Dentisan customers and dental practices. What makes Dentisan is different is that it’s dedicated to providing the best service to our customers and helping practices achieve effective and compliant decontamination.

Outside of work, I play badminton competitively several times a week and also enjoy visiting all the best eateries in the local area.”

“I am involved with the development of Dentisan products and ensure that they are safe, effective and compliant with regulations. It’s a varied role, and no two days are ever quite the same, which is what makes it so enjoyable.

Our commitment to supporting dental practices extends beyond just providing products, however! A great example is the Clean Water Club, which encourages practices to regularly check and maintain their dental unit waterlines. It’s a proactive initiative that reflects Dentisan’s focus on best practice, compliance and patient care.

Outside of work, I volunteer the Royal Society of Chemistry – Formulation Science and Technology Group helping organising events that bring professionals together. I love to read and can also be found at my local book club.”

“I develop and optimise infection control formulations for the dental and healthcare sectors. My role focuses on driving innovation through the development of new technologies, evaluating product performance and ensuring our formulations meet the highest standards of quality, safety and effectiveness.

I also assess dental water samples, helping customers identify water quality issues and maintain compliance. What makes Dentisan different to me is the opportunity to turn scientific ideas into practical solutions that have a great impact. There is a large focus on innovation, continuous improvement and the development of products that address real challenges faced by healthcare professionals.

Outside of work I enjoy travelling, going to the gym and playing football.”

Outside of work, I enjoy baking sweet treats and love exploring new places!”
