In the run-up to Christmas, dentisan, along with our parent company Quadralene, were working hard to help those most in need at this crucial time of year.
dentisan helping Crisis once again this Christmas
We continue to support the valuable work that Crisis does at Christmas. Crisis caters for over 4,000 homeless people to ensure they have food, clothing, shelter and practical support over the festive period. It’s a huge volunteer effort, with 14 centres across Britain offering the chance to relax, regain confidence and plan for the future in a supportive environment, away from the immediate hardships of homelessness.
Once again this December a pallet of dentisan cleaning products was sent to Crisis to help maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the temporary drop-in centres, to make them as welcoming and comfortable as possible.
dentisan elves raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society
Friday 6 December 2019 was officially ‘Elf Day’ where people across the UK, including many of the team at dentisan, dressed up as elves to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Society.
To date the dentisan elves have raised £224 for this very worthwhile cause that touches so many of our lives – plus everyone had a great time!
Supporting children in need in Romania
We’ve also been busy once again collecting clothes and toys for the charity NetWorks Romania. These have been sorted, packed and wrapped into individual boxes and sent to Romania to be distributed to children in desperate need of help and cheer over Christmas and during the bitter winter months ahead.
dentisan’s Managing Director Bob Newsome commented, “We’re always proud to help support international, UK and locally-based charities throughout the year, but especially so at Christmas. I want to say a big ‘thank you’ to everyone at dentisan for their continued support and for putting so much time and effort into making a real difference to those most in need this Christmas.”
