dentisan sponsors up-and-coming Derbyshire squash player
Recognising the need to support local sports talent, dentisan is delighted to now be sponsoring up-and-coming Derbyshire squash player, Matt Gregory.
Matt has not only been studying hard for his final year A-Level exams in maths, physics and business studies, he has also been competing nationwide to boost his prowess on the squash circuit.
Over recent months Matt has competed in the British U23 Open at Roehampton Club (London) where he came up against some of the best U23s in the country. He made his Senior debut for Derbyshire in the recent Inter County Championships in Sheffield, where the County Captain played him at number 2 in the team. He has also played in the Manchester Junior Silver event, as well as the British Nationals, where he faced a 20-year old Nick Wall Jnr who is ranked #120 in the world.
Matt is currently moving up the under 19 England Rankings and his aim is to reach and stay inside the top 20. Matt is pictured here in action at the National Championships proudly wearing his dentisan-sponsored shirt.
Bob Newsome, dentisan’s Managing Director said, “We are delighted with Matt’s progress and being in a position to help him to become one of the county’s top squash players. Everyone at dentisan wishes him the very best of luck for his future ambitions. And we will keep a keen eye on his progress”
