- According to latest guidance I need to use 1000 ppm chlorine for disinfecting surfaces; can I use Dentichlor for this?Yes, Dentichlor is a chlorine-based disinfectant. 1000 ppm chlorine can be achieved by dissolving 1 Dentichlor tablet in 1 litre of water.
- What’s the best method of use for Dentichlor when using it to disinfect surfaces? In order to follow the government guidelines, Dentichlor should be diluted as follows: 1 tablet should be dissolved in 1 litre of water. This will give a 1000 ppm chlorine solution. The solution should be used to disinfect clean chlorine compatible surfaces by application via a suitable cloth soaked in the solution. Wipe over the surface ensuring complete coverage, then leave to dry.
- Are Biocleanse Ultra wipes effective against coronaviruses?Biocleanse Ultra is effective against all enveloped viruses, which includes viruses such as HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, H1N1, H5N1 and Coronaviruses.
- What is the recommended contact time for Biocleanse Ultra? The contact time for general disinfection, including viruses, is 1 minute. Where there is a specific tuberculosis concern, then a contact time of 15 minutes should be deployed.
