Helping those in need this Christmas

Whilst many of us are looking forward to a time of fun, food and celebration with family and friends this Christmas, for those facing times of serious trouble, both here and abroad, it can be a cold, hungry and desperately lonely time. That’s why dentisan, along with our parent company Quadralene, are endeavouring to make a difference for those most in need at this special time of year.

As a long-time supporter of the homeless charity Crisis at Christmas, it’s hard to believe that it is 50 years since Crisis was founded as an urgent response to a desperate situation, yet our help is needed now more than ever before. In response to their annual appeal for donations of vital resources, a pallet of washing up liquid, antibacterial hand wash and other cleaning products are on their way to be distributed to temporary centres in London, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Birmingham and Coventry which provide immediate food, shelter and healthcare to over 4,000 people experiencing homelessness at this critical time of year.

We’ve also been busy collecting toys and clothes for the charity Network Romania. These have been packed and loaded onto pallets and are on their way to Romania to be distributed to children in desperate need of help during the bitter winter months ahead.
